Meet Our Staff

Pastor, Reverend Dr. Ezra Chapola

Pastor Ezra was born in Malawi, Southern Africa, and comes from a family of pastors, making him a second-generation minister. He earned a diploma in Theology from the United Theological College in Harare, Zimbabwe. He then pursued a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts at Bangor Theological Seminary in Bangor, Maine. Additionally, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Maine in Orono, Maine.

During his time in Zimbabwe, Pastor Ezra served several congregations within the United Church of Christ in Zimbabwe. As a minister with full standing in the United Church of Christ (UCC), he held pastoral positions in both the Maine Conference of the UCC and the Vermont Conference of the UCC. Pastor Ezra is deeply passionate about his faith in God and the preaching of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Besides his ministry, he enjoys listening to music and analyzing policy documents. He is married to Taona, and they have two grown children.

Accompanist, Lindsey Montana

Lindsey Montana is originally from Blue Hill, but has lived in Otisfield for the last 35 years, most of them with his wife, Sara. He was classically trained in piano as a child, and later in life developed a unique style of “playing by ear” on piano and a number of other instruments. He performs regularly throughout the region.

Special Music, Georgia Noonan

Georgia received a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Plymouth State University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University. She has performed around the United States, including Carnegie Hall, and internationally in Europe and South America.

When not performing or practicing, Georgia is a full-time paralegal and enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time on her family’s farm.

Treasurer Assistant, Wanda Vaughn-Carr

Wanda is a long-time member of CVC. She handles some of the financials of our church assisting the Treasurer, as well as filling the position of our Clerk, and our in-house graphic Artist. She also works across the street as the Assistant Librarian in the Casco Library. Wanda raised two children: Andi and Cree.

Office Manager Storm Field

Storm has been a part of Casco Village Church since 2018 and we are delighted by her bright spirit eager to help in any way she can. Her best gift is the open hospitality she brings to the church office. Storm has a 12 year old daughter London and fiancé named Justin. They live in Otisfield.

Caretaker/Nursery Care Angie Burnham

Handyman Brian Porter

Brian keeps our Sanctuary looking good and, more challenging, keeps our other very actively used building clean. He is our super handy fix-it-guy, too! Brian is a member of CVC, and with his wife Helen, attends worship on a regular basis.
