Pastor, Reverend Dr. Ezra Chapola

Pastor Ezra was born in Malawi, Southern Africa, and comes from a family of pastors, making him a second-generation minister. He earned a diploma in Theology from the United Theological College in Harare, Zimbabwe. He then pursued a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts at Bangor Theological Seminary in Bangor, Maine. Additionally, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Maine in Orono, Maine.
During his time in Zimbabwe, Pastor Ezra served several congregations within the United Church of Christ in Zimbabwe. As a minister with full standing in the United Church of Christ (UCC), he held pastoral positions in both the Maine Conference of the UCC and the Vermont Conference of the UCC. Pastor Ezra is deeply passionate about his faith in God and the preaching of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Besides his ministry, he enjoys listening to music and analyzing policy documents. He is married to Taona, and they have two grown children.
Accompanist, Lindsey Montana
Lindsey Montana is originally from Blue Hill, but has lived in Otisfield for the last 35 years, most of them with his wife, Sara. He was classically trained in piano as a child, and later in life developed a unique style of “playing by ear” on piano and a number of other instruments. He performs regularly throughout the region.

When not performing or practicing, Georgia is a full-time paralegal and enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time on her family’s farm.
